Sample Nightmare
I got this as a sample from Sephora, and I was super excited because I have always had an oily T-Zone and I thought this primer might do the trick to help keep my foundation wrong. A little went a long way, and it did make my skin feel velvety soft, I didn't have a problem with application but once I took off my make-up I was SHOCKED! Best with liquid foundations and dry skin

NOT good for sensitive skin
Product felt amazing after initial application. It left a velvety resin on my skin. However, it only made my face feel incredibly greasy after an hour. Meh.
This used to be my go-to primer for daily use. It does have a very silicon-y feel to it, which may be off-putting to some, but I didn't mind it. Yes, it makes your foundation application much more smoother, but I don't believe it makes the foundation last that much longer. The reason I think this product is so popular is because it was the forerunner in primers. Just cant get enough
I love love love this stuff....its great! it does need to be warmed up a bit in your hands but my face totally felt like satin afterwords, and even with drugstore bought foundations they glide on like a dream! A good primer, it makes my skin feel extremely velvety and really does smooth out my skin texture so is a good base for makeup which really does stick onto your face for the most part of the day with this. Disappointing.
I read all the thousands of good reviews on this product and so I was really excited to use it. I guess I can see why so many love it but It is not meant for dry skin. Unless you can find a moisturizer than works with this primer... it's not worth it. When I put it on it just started rudding up. I think I made that word up. I also feel that it is just too silicone based. However for those of you who love this product, though it might sound weird... Monistat makes a chaffing gel that has this EXACT same texture but it's like 1/3 of the price. I wouldn't have known that if I didn't research a cheaper option all over the internet. so greasy!
My skin isn't very oily, but I wind up looking like a grease monkey when I have tried this. Now I limit my use of it as sunscreen (I have many trial sizes with spf) - and on my body only. It feels oily and doesn't do anything.
