  I love love love the feeling of this, and that it is so low maintenance. I love makeup, but not lipstick, and rarely wear anything other than Chapstick Mint on my lips. Read these reviews and decided to try it. I bought raisin first, and it was SO dark and did not look good with my skin color at all! So today I bought Champ...agne and Cocoa. Champagne is nice, a little too light for my skin tone, but COCOA is awesome! I found a winner, and would love to try to find some more! Just sucks you can't test the shade before you waste 9 bucks like me. Totally worth it though! February 6, 2008, 5:36 pm

  Great!

  I've purchased this product in a few different colors, and I love them all! They are great in the summer to compliment a tan, and no other makeup is needed. In the winter, they provide excellent moisturizing for dry lips, and your lips look great while being taken care of!! November 21, 2007, 3:37 am

  This is the best "lipstick" for those of us who do not like the thick feel and look of traditional lipstick, or the goopy sticky feel of gloss, but cannot stand to go without some color. Feels wonderful, provides good coverage and color, but always looks natural and not overly done. I keep 2 with me at all times......coffee and raisin are my favs! November 14, 2007, 1:18 pm

  Convenient and fast way to moisturize

  I love this stuff. Burt's Bees makes great lip balms and now they've combined it with some color. When I don't have time to take out my mirror, lip liner, and lipstick, or if I feel it's inappropriate to primp in public, I apply the Lip Shimmer for a kick of color. The color is not too sheer, nor is it too thick. It looks n...atural but definitely enhanced with some color. I've tried 3 of the colors and so far, Watermelon is my favorite. Its a nice pink color. I also like the peppermint scent. Next time I buy it, I'm gonna pick up extras, because I love it so much. May 20, 2008, 2:29 pm

  Glides on so smoothly

  I love the way the lip shimmer glides on my lips so smoothly - not like most waxy lip moisturizers or oily like some glosses. The colors just intensify natural lip colors so they appear healthy and plump instead of 'made-up' in a gawdy color. But the best part is the peppermint taste that makes my lips tingle and feel so fr...esh. The price is right so I can carry one with me, keep one at home, have one in my desk at work, etc. This is my all time favorite lip moisturizer and I often recommend it to friends.   Still my fave in 2008

  After moving from environmental student to environmental professional - I thought I should upgrade my minimalist look a bit by adding a low-key version of lipstick. I think I must have about five of the Watermelon colored lip shimmers scattered around my bags, drawers, and bathroom so that they're always nearby. They're ...great for just a bit of color and I especially appreciate the ingredients list gets a fairly decent rating on the Skin Deep Cosmetic Safety Database - which seems fairly important since I'm probably licking my lips and ingesting a bit of this everyday!   Won't leave home without it!

  On a day when you don't want to put on make up and you need just your bare essentials, this one is it! I'm the type of girl that won't get caught in a photo without make-up...come on...you KNOW it just won't look good! But when I travel, I hate wasting precious sightseeing time with a beauty routine. After a trip t...o Spain, I realized I can survive on just tinted moisturizer, a great mascare, and BURT'S BEES Lip Shimmer! My favorite color is Nutmeg, but you can try them all. It leaves just the right amount of pigment to make your lips defined and shimmering, but doesn't look "make-up"-ey. You'll also notice a cooling sensation as mint is an ingredient.   Yahhh gimmi more Burt Bees!! This perticular BB product I carry in my purse at all times. Along with the BB lip balm. It gives you the perfect soft, full, and kissable lips that everyone wants.   I so wanted to like this product! but, I could never find a color that I liked, they are either too dark or too light. I have light-medium skin tone and usually don't have issues with match up. Anyway as far as the lip balm part, I felt like I was missing something ... like the balm! It did not moisturize my lips and t...here was not much in the way of stay power, which was good since the color looked funny. April 28, 2008, 5:03 pm

  I had this in a light pink color, which I've lost =( I love how it is natural.. always a plus. It goes on smoothly. It turns out a lot lighter than what it looks like before you apply it. Need to reapply it every now and then. May 20, 2008, 8:17 pm
