  Good mascara for 1st time users

  This was the 1st mascara I have ever bought. Before I got it, I wasn't a mascara fan because I thought it was for girly girls. But I needed to buy some makeup for my senior prom last year, so when I went to the store, I made sure to look for products that would naturally enhance my beauty without making me look made up. Whe...n it came down to mascara, there were a lot of options. So I read the descriptions for all the ones under $15, and this one not only seemed to meet my requirements, but it was on sale too. So I bought it in "black brown" and wore to prom. I loved the way the mascara stayed on my lashes and made my eyes pop, so I continued to wear it all the way up until two months ago. In the winter cold, it seemed to dry out on lashes and irritate my eyes, so I replaced it with a mascara that had a creamier formula. I'd still recommend it though. March 16, 2008, 6:25 pm

  This mascara is not the worst, but it's not the best. The brush tends to clump easily, which translates to clumpy lashes. Additionally, this is not a mascara that will give you a dramatic or false lash look at all. This is good for a coat or two before clumping and gummy texture really start to get in the way.   ABSOLUTLY WONDERFUL

  I am one of those people who smile alot, when I am around other people, and ordinary mascara, is just awful. At the end of an hour I find it on my lower lid. And if you are in meetings and such, how can anyone take you seriously, when they look at you and you look like a racoon? BUT, this is the best mascara You can buy,... it doesn't flake , rub off, (unless you want it to) no more smuging.... Thay saved they life. I give this a 100 February 15, 2008, 6:58 am

  Great for contact lens wearers

  I suffer from allergies, and my eyes water quite a bit. This mascara is able to withstand the tearing admirably. With careful application it provides good thickening and separating, but once it starts to get old, usually after a couple of months, it will start to clump. The reasonable price makes it easy to discard and sta...rt a new one - you don't have to feel guilty about staying hygenic. I use a non-oil based eye makeup remover, and it comes off very easily.   One of my favs!

  Though the tube dries out fairly quick, this mascara works wonders on my short lashes! It lengthens and defines, and always looks like I just applied it. It stays on without smudging, and removes very easily with baby oil and a cotton ball. February 21, 2008, 4:14 am

  Little to no lashes

  when I had children, boys in particular, they must have taken what little lashes I had. My daughter and I have to use enhancements. Thank goodness for mascara. I\'d love to have my lashes back, but since that\'s not going to happen, I\'ll stick with Cover Girl. December 11, 2007, 6:44 am

  Love this mascara

  I really love this mascara. I have tried a lot of products. I have had problems with them leaving black smudges or flakes under my eyes. I wear this and it lasts all day, and I never have smudges under my eyes. I usually use waterproof mascara, but this product has won me over. I don't think I'll try anymore.   i love it

  I don't care what other people say, I LOVE this mascara. It makes my long eyelashes not much longer, but thicker, which is exactally what I want. Whenever I need more mascara, i dont even consider another brand. this brand is all i will ever need! December 6, 2007, 6:10 pm

  Ok, but clumpy...

  The mascara functions as your average mascara. But it tends to clump because of the wand, even after two coats, and it it isn't completely waterproof. I have allergies, so when I wear this, it tends to run, and alot of it comes off, leaving me with black eyes. You will need makeup remover with this though.   Perfect for what it's designed to be...

  I've used this mascara for several years now & I love it. I have really oily skin & it doesn't smudge below my lower lashes. I wear it to weddings & it doesn't run if you tear up. If you need to go swimming, this is not the mascara for you. Still, I've never found a truly waterproof mascara that didn't feel like... you were tearing your lashes out by the roots when you took it off. This is great - just a bit of soap & water (don't even need to change the cleansing routine) and it's gone in a flash. One of my favorites! August 13, 2009, 1:39 pm
