Great natural but better look.
I like the minty scent. It's not as moisturizing as the plain, unshimmery balm, but it's good for a product that combines a nice amount of color and balm. I have the Watermelon color and I think it's just right--not too pigmented and not too sheer, and not too glittery/shimmery. The only problem is that it's a little messy--it tends to get around the white plastic edge and you can't twist it down far enough to avoid smushing it sometimes when you put the lid on. But it's definitely a product I will continue to buy. Great introduction to Burt's Lip Shimmers
Burt's Lip Shimmers are moisturizing like Burt's Lip Balms but with a good shot of color like lipstick. They don't have the staying power of lipsticks but are easier to apply and not as drying. This is a great way to try several of Burt's Lip Shimmers unless you don't like dark lip colors. The Champagne color is great because it is really light and can be layered over lipsticks to give them a frosty sparkle. The other three colors are quite dark and are closer to lipstick than lip balm. Move over Chapstick!
Burt's Bees has really tickled me pink with this one. No more bland colorless natural chapsticks. With this convienent little package no matter what youre wearing they provide a color to match. The stick glides on smooth with a minty smell and slight tingle to go along with it. Great for chapped lips! If you don't like a thick heavy color and just want a little bit of shine without the goop of gloss this is for you.
