Textures & Tones
Ms.Smokeyx64 (1 reviews)I used this product and was not happy with the lack of grey coverage, even though I'm not over 30% gray. I ended up with three different shades from platinum, to red, and lastly brown. When I called Clairol they recommended a color correction method, with another of their product; Nice and Easy, which contains ammonia. This was not listed in the ingredient portion inside the box, where the instructions are found, they listed this ingredient on the bottom of the box, as ammonium hydroxide. Unless you're a chemist, or a cosmetologist you would'nt know the difference. The Clairol specialist knew I had relaxer in my hair and relaxer and ammonia together is a recipe for baldness. If I had not searched the box the second time, I'd be bald now. This is not due deligence in marketing. On one product you put no ammonia on the front of the box, as in Textures & Tones. On on th Nice'n Easy box it's not on the inside instruction sheet, it's not on the front of the box, then it's common name is not listed on the outside of the box, and yet you use this as the fix for accidents which occur with the first product. I wish I could take my hat off to you, Clairol with you Textures & Tones, but I'm ashame of my tiro colored hair color. Ladies of color, beware if you're not going darker than your natural hair color beware. You may not even come close to what you're looking for. I'll be kicking myself for the next few months until it grows out, or I'll have to do what I should have done in the first place, gone to a professional. For $60.00 I could have had it done professionally, now I have to pay for a professional to strip the color, who knows how much that will cost, and another $60.00 to have it colored correctly. Clairol, I'll not have anything good to say about your products from this day forward. Fabulous
ernestine_peebles (1 reviews)I Love this product. The color is fantastic and my hair feels healthier than before I applied the color. It works best when the hair is completely dry and free of styling products. I usually wash my hair the night before, let it air dry and apply the product the following day. I would recommend this product. Haven't used any other brand since I began using textures and tones. — 10 months, 4 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful
