  Hey, no streaks!

  I have tried other self-tanners in the past and ended up with orange streaks. I was reluctant to try this product but read several good reviews on this and other sites so I decided to give it a try. I am very pale and I totally try to avoid the sun due to a family history of skin cancer, and I was tired of being so white.... This product gives a very natural glow and subtle color. I started with the lighter formula and went to the darker one wanting a little more color. I wouldn't mind going a little darker, but for the price, it did a good job with no streaks. Sometimes I skip a day and the color fades gradually, just like a real tan. The smell is a little strong but you do get used to it in a couple of days. Don't let that stop you. I have always liked Jergens products and I am glad to see that science is finally winning the war on the orange people. May 29, 2008, 12:39 pm

  Just the right glow

  I've not tried a self-tanner for many years, probably because of bad experiences with the very early self-tanners - who can forget the yellow/orange hands and uneven "tans"?! This is different. I like that this goes on like any ol' moisturizing lotion, but then leaves you with just a very mild glow of a tan (tho...ugh deeper ones are available if you want). I have rosacea, and sometimes a slight tan helps disguise it, but sun is actually a TRIGGER for rosacea, so this is a nice solution. Much more reasonably priced than many of the self-tanner/moisturizers out there. I do still find that I feel like I have to apply it, walk around the house and let it dry thoroughly first before putting clothes over it, but it's a small price to pay. May 23, 2008, 1:39 pm

  Good for newbies to self tanning

  This is a great self tanner for those who are new to self tanners or those of us who don't have the precision of a surgeon required to apply all other tanners without looking like streaky dirty orange hot mess. I use this on my legs early on in the springtime when they need a little beautifying shove to get out there in my ...skirts and i find the application is easy as putting on regular lotion with none of the streaky blothciness usu. associated with self tanners. Only drawback is the smell..THAT smell, that all self tanners have to a certin degree. My remedy: just layer your own awesome smelling lotion over the tanner and you won't even notice it. Other tip-have to repply it every few days or so once you have your "base"to keep the color up. May 21, 2008, 3:19 pm

  Darkest Shade

  I use the darkest shade available because my natural skin color is already at about an NC40. Gave me an even boost of healthy color, a literal "glow". Took about 3 days. The first time I used it, I applied it in the morning and by noon at work, the chemical smell was sort of overwhelming and was bothering me. Now ...I used the lotion before bed and either shower it off in the morning or layer a regular moisturizer on top of it. The smell is pretty much standard for most DHA self-tanning products, but it's just a small price to pay for healthy skin without sun damage. I love it! May 23, 2008, 2:20 am

  Daughter uses and loves

  Just before school was out we decided my daughter would try this product. She loved it, by the end of school, just before tanning and swimming season, she had a nice little slight tan, where she is normally just as white as can be. I believe the extra moisturizing helped her skin to get ready for a summer filled season of f...un in the sun. She now uses her spf tanner/lotion and then when she is done swimming for the day after she gets out of the shower, applies this moisturizer and her tan looks incredible, I am so jealous!! I have been using it whenever I get out of the shower now and I like the subtle skin color change and I never go in the sun because I always burn!!! Great product to help enhance your summer tan!!!   dont like the smell

  My number one complaint is the smell, even after the improved it I don't like the smell. Can't they make it so it has no smell. Also for some reason when I use this on my arms it looks okay but if I use it on my legs it looks orange and streaky no matter what I do. I can't believe how they rave about it in magazines like al...lure, and glamour personally I think it needs a little improvement. March 29, 2008, 11:26 pm

  Best Bang for the Buck

  I've tried a number of self tanners including very expensive treatments and the spray tanners, but have found this to be the best out there. It dries in about 10 minutes and develops in a few hours. Throw on an old t-shirt and shorts and wait at least that long (preferably about 20 minutes) before putting on any clothes t...hat you value. Like any self tanner, you must be sure to provide complete coverage in order to avoid streaks or bare areas, but just like any moisturizer, don't you want to cover your entire body to get the best benefit.   Natural Glow my pa-tooty !!

  I have tried alot of self tanners in the past and they made you look orange and blotchy but when I decided to try this one it did the same thing, I'm not really a fan of any self tanners it's just not the same as the real thing. May 29, 2008, 7:22 pm

  This is a great alternative to tanning in the spring....

  Noone likes a pasty girl unless your skin looks like Nicole Kidman's!! This product delivers a beautiful light tan without making you look like an oompa loompa! It gives just the right amount of color so that you glow, but not too much so you can keep it a secret...that is if you don't mind the fragrance. It is quite not...icable to me when I put it on and if I am heading out the door - sometimes the smell deters me from putting it on. That said, it is a small price to pay for looking fabulous!! One tube lasts me months...so I would say it is a great value for the money. May 22, 2008, 6:38 am

  Wonderful Natural Looking Tan

  I absolutely LOVE this product! I have very fair skin and this is just the kind of sunless tanning lotion that I needed. (I used the "Fair Skin Tones" version.) Applied daily, your tan gradually gets darker and darker, so you're in control of how dark your tans gets to be. This is my second season using this an...d I can't say enough good things about it: it smells great, doesn't streak or stain your skin yellow, and the price is right too! I love that I can start wearing shorts and skirts early in the spring/summer season without being embarrassed or going to a tanning bed either. May 4, 2008, 12:25 pm
