Totally worth it

The wider size is great for l...read moreong, intensely curly hair. The temperature dial is great too! It heats up to over 400 degrees in less than 1 minute as well as indicates when it is ready. I've noticed that the cord is easy to maintain, too since it is rounder and doesn't kink or crimp when used after a while. It is lightweight, durable, and extremely effective on the curliest locks! I've heard they last a really long, too but I haven't had mine for a year yet (which is when a lot of flat irons give out). Also, the tourmaline plates are so easy to clean. Even when product or hair dye gets onto the plates, it doesn't burn or crisp and believe it or not, once it's cooled off, you can clean it off with one quick wipe with your finger! This is such an amazing styling tool. I give it an A++!

product is okay

Not worth $200. Takes my hair forever to dry. Product keeps reheating to the temp I set it to. I like how a iron cover is provided. I like to lay my the iron on it when it's hot.

pretty average

I have a head full of fine wavy hair and I live in an area that's quite humid, so when I purchased this wonder invention I thought it was a great idea.....but I was let down. The concept of drying and straightening at the same seems fantastic to me, but this doesn't really do the trick. It left my hair flat at the top, frizzy at the ends and very fly away. My hair is like barbed wire; this makes it look like silk ribbon

In fifty years of coping with coarse, curly hair, I have never had anything like this: not chemical straightening; not salon blow-dry; not wrapping; not ironing; not setting my hair on frozen orange juice cans. Amazing and fast: I set my hair in rollers until it's damp, then unroll one at a time and run this over each chunk of hair for maybe 20 seconds, until steam no longer comes out of the iron. Five minutes later, straight hair--no fuzzies, no splits.

A-MAZ-ING!!

WORTH THE MONEY!!! My stylist uses this iron and recommended it for me. He has used it to my hair so silky straight and yet has also used it to create curl (by wrapping my hair around it, the iron has grooves which grip your hair for this). I purchased the straightener and love how quickly it heats up and that it lasts. I've had mine for over a year and it seems like new. Whenever my friends talk about their CHI straighteners, I tell them they will like the T3 better.
