  I have a head full of fine wavy hair and I live in an area that's quite humid, so when I purchased this wonder invention I thought it was a great idea.....but I was let down. The concept of drying and straightening at the same seems fantastic to me, but this doesn't really do the trick. It left my hair flat at the top, frizzy at the ends and very fly away. Maybe if you have very thick hair you would get a different end result than I did but this iron isn't for me. In theory the idea is good, but this wet to dry iron didn't sell me.   In fifty years of coping with coarse, curly hair, I have never had anything like this: not chemical straightening; not salon blow-dry; not wrapping; not ironing; not setting my hair on frozen orange juice cans. Amazing and fast: I set my hair in rollers until it's damp, then unroll one at a time and run this over each ch...   Totally worth it

By far the best thing I've ever bought for myself. It is a little pricey but the wet-to-dry feature works fine (it just takes a few extra minutes because it... By far the best thing I've ever bought for myself. It is a little pricey but the wet-to-dry feature works fine (it just takes a few extra minutes because it dries the hair first and then straightens). The wider size is great for long, intensely curly hair. The temperature dial is great too! It heats up to over 400 degrees in less than 1 minute as well as indicates when it is ready. I've noticed that the cord is easy to maintain, too since it is rounder and doesn't kink or crimp when used after a while. It is lightweight, durable, and extremely effective on the curliest locks! I've heard they last a really long, too but I haven't had mine for a year yet (which is when a lot of flat irons give out). Also, the tourmaline plates are so easy to clean. Even when product or hair dye gets onto the plates, it doesn't burn or crisp and believe it or not, once it's cooled off, you can clean it off with one quick wipe with your finger!   product is okay

  Not worth $200. Takes my hair forever to dry. Product keeps reheating to the temp I set it to. I like how a iron cover is provided. I like to lay my the iron on it when it's hot. December 27, 2007, 10:31 am
