Juicy Tube look-alikes at drugstore prices may sound heavenly to some, but beware: L'Oreal Colour Juice Sheer Juicy Lip Gloss is like Elmer's Glue for the lips. You won't be able to wipe off the sticky, gooey formula fast enough. High shine and sheer color are indeed present until you eat or drink, but the nauseatingly sweet, artificial attempt at a fruity scent is one even a toddler might avoid. (Cherry on Top is one of many fun, deceiving names.) Wear it only to scare away deadbeat dates.

A good gloss!
Just the right amount of pigment, scented but not too strongly, not too slick and not too tacky, and reasonably priced. There are plenty of colors to choose from as well. The applicator is just okay (round, when I'd prefer a slanted tip), but I really can't complain too much!
