Play Up Shadow for Green Eyes

by paulajo77 (3 reviews)
I bought this product thinking I needed to try something different. The colors are so intense I feel like I am either a young girl that doesn't know how to apply make-up or that I should be working the street corner when I try to wear this product. Guess I should have stuck with what I was using before!10/25/2007

Made my brown eyes stand out

I had more compliments that day for my eyes then I usually do. I was so pleases that I used it all the way to pan. My only problem was at how the eye shadow felt it felt a bit heavy and by the end of the day my oily eyelids had creased the darker shadow and the light shadow was gone. Though it doesn't last it still looks nice, you just have to touch it up in the middle of the day. February 25, 2008, 5:53 pm

    PERFECT!

These shadows are my all time favorites, because they are not only of the highest quality (I'm serious, even department store shadows can't compare in my opinion) but they are also the perfect shades to play up your specific eye color. November 29, 2007, 4:13 pm this eyeshadow was kindof hard to use at first since the colors are so intense. i have the trio for green eyes which are plum, forest green and a citrus lite green. at first i used the applicator given and it was hard to blend the colors so it didnt look like you had a black eye but the i used my shadow brushes and know i love it!!! the purple base with the dark green at the crease makes your eye color pop!! and the the lite green just gives it that fun shimmer and it you lightly coat the whole lid with it it blend all three colorss together. i like to wear this at night when i go out because it makes the perfect smokey eye with a twist!! to bring it up a notch i then use black liner and mix it with either dark green or dark purple liner and blend wthen heavy black mascara. Very nice

    by justrhonda (10 reviews)
I usually do not wear any eyeshadow (other than a little bronzer swept under my brows, but I thought that I would try the trio for browns to enhance my eyes. They are colors that I have pretty much stuck to in the past, so it was not a big leap for me. It is a nice change for me when I want to have more dramatic eyes, but... A dual liner brush and eyeshadow applicator might be nice in a small package like that. June 2, 2008, 9:08 am

My eyes have always been my best feature and I rarely wear anything other then gloss on my lips but now I get compliments all the time. It does not irritate my contacts and is long wearing. I don't use the crease color often but think this is a great value and it performs as stated. April 18, 2008, 7:34 pm

    Weird

I really wasn't too fond of this...I have blue/green eyes, so can go with either. I used the green eyes kit, & really wasn't impressed. Trying to use the dark green as a wet liner didn't work out at all, as the shadow just balled up & littered my undereye area. The light green was too light (almost like a 'Poison Iv... Trying to use the dark green as a wet liner didn't work out at all, as the shadow just balled up & littered my undereye area. The light green was too light (almost like a 'Poison Ivy' effect), and the purple was ho-hum. Altogether, not impressed. December 13, 2007, 4:45 pm

    PRETTY, SHOWY POWDER SHADOW

I've been using the different color combos of ALMAY INTENSE-I-COLOR PLAY UP POWDER SHADOW, and I must say that I'm VERY SATISFIED with each one of them. Blue eyes, not so great

    by bbcamp (53 reviews)
I have tried all of the blue eye versions and each has one color that may work well but the rest seem to be way out there (orange on my eye's?). They are not that expensive so I thought I would give it a try. I wouldn't recommend using the blue eye version. April 29, 2008, 3:26 pm

    itchy eyes

    by jenntifer (4 reviews)
This product is pretty good. They take all the guess work out of what will work for you and make it easy to see use to your best advantage. It didn't irritate my eyes at all after a long day looking at a computer screen. March 30, 2008, 7:57 am

    Not the Greatest

    by greeneyes16 (10 reviews)
They advertise this product as making your eyes pop and playing up the color. I have eyes right in between hazel and green. This eye shadow didn't really make my eyes look all that great. I would go with another choice. December 20, 2007, 6:45 pm
