Slowly gets worse

It started out great! Great color, fixed all my red blotches, pretty awesome. Then the consistency of the foundation got too runny and watery, the coverage became totally uneven, and the color just wasn't as great as it had been. I wouldn't buy this again, and I advise you spend your money elsewhere.

My favorite can't- do- without makeup

I spent years and beaucoup bucks trying to figure out what shade my sensitive skin was. Now I don't have to think about it- Almay Smart Shade figured it out for me. Thanks, Almay. I now have the flawless, even, natural-looking coverage I always craved but never quite achieved before.

Great procuct

I completely recommend using concealer with this product. remember this is like coverup which just evens out your face and color. Concealer is what covers up the red spot and all the blemishes so keep that in mind.

Unbelievable, but true!

I too, was shocked when the product came out of the tube. I was certain I had made a huge mistake, but when I squeezed a tiny amount on my makeup brush and applied it to my face...it was exactly the shade I needed! I don't have to understand how it works, but I am thrilled that I have found a product that costs about a third of my previous brand and actually looks better on my face. I have found a new favorite product.

Somehow I got the wrong shade

I wanted this product to work, but it looks orangy on me. I bought the light/medium and the color isn't right. My face is noticeably different in color than my neck. While I have a light-medium complexion, maybe I should have bought the light. I'm going to save the product and try it out in the summer,when I tend to get a little color to my face. Because of the problem with the color, I don't think I'd buy this product again.

the perfect color!

I don't have the easiest skin color to match, everything is either too pink or too gold and such, but this always looks perfect! once i started using it i received so many compliments on how great my skin looked too! Its so light weight and easy to blend. I can't live without it!!

just discovered

I always had trouble matching my light (pale) skin color until this product became available. I have got more compliments on my skin than I have using any other product. The only down side was when the bottle was getting near empty, this strange color came out.

Almay Smart Shade: Is It Really That Smart?

I was so excited to try this because it seemed so easy. Could it really match my skin tone? The anwser is no. It made my skin look flaky and it made me too yellow. It wasn't worth the money I spent. They need more choices for shades. The few they have don't work for everyone. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Didn't work out for me.

I was having a hard time finding a foundation to match my skintone because I am so very pale. That's why I decided to give this product a try. After a couple uses I noticted that it looked very yellow on my skin. That's really the only complaint I have, but it's a big one! I wasted 13$ which is kind of pricy for drug store foundation!
