I was a huge fan of this mascara and Almay products in general when I was younger and had to wear contact lenses. I appreciated that their products are hypoallergenic and didn't irritate my eyes when I had lenses in. However, now that I no longer wear contact lenses and have tried more makeup brands, i have found that Almay just doesn't measure up. Most brands these days are hypoallergenic, and this mascara is really, really clumpy. I found that it smeared and ran a whole lot, particularly in the heat. I would have dark circles under my eyes by the end of the day. The separation it gave was poor-- the formula was just too runny to do anything except make lashes stick together. The only good thing I have to say about it concerns the color-- the black is a very nice, deep and rich shade which makes lashes stand out, but that on its own is not enough to make me buy this less than excellent mascara again. I do not recommend it.
