Poor
I was a huge fan of this mascara and Almay products in general when I was younger and had to wear contact lenses. I appreciated that their products are hypoallergenic and didn't irritate my eyes when I had lenses in. However, now that I no longer wear contact lenses and have tried more makeup brands, i have found that Almay just doesn't measure up. Most brands these days are hypoallergenic, and this mascara is really, really clumpy. I found that it smeared and ran a whole lot, particularly in the heat. I would have dark circles under my eyes by the end of the day. The separation it gave was poor-- the formula was just too runny to do anything except make lashes stick together. The only good thing I have to say about it concerns the color-- the black is a very nice, deep and rich shade which makes lashes stand out, but that on its own is not enough to make me buy this less than excellent mascara again. I do not recommend it. Former love...
I used this mascara daily for over a year and bought many tubes in that time. It was amazing. It didn't smudge or flake and one coat really did make my lashes look amazing. But then either they changed it or I got a bad tube, because suddenly it was VERY clumpy and just...gross. It made my lashes look awful and it flaked and smudged and was just bad. I've been using others since that last tube and haven't felt ready to give it another chance yet. Great for Lashes

Great mascara
Its really light, so you can wear it to the office or even in the morning. It doesn't clump, and it adds lenght to your lashes without being too dramatic. Pretty Good

Driest mascara ever!
The spool is actually quite nice for the size of my eyes (freakishly small!) and I like the overall result, but if you're not used to using dry formulated mascaras, it takes a while to get accustomed to it. The waiting period between coats is very little if not none. I really like the performance, curl-holding and colour (it's one of the blackest black mascaras I've ever used). What got me into makeup...
This was the first makeup i ever asked my mom to buy me. My friend had this, and i loved her lashes so i bought this and i loved it back then, but it did get old pretty fast. Might of been just mine? But this was a former love of mine, and now i havent bought it since its been years. Long and wild eyelashes
I have long, wild, and erratic eyelashes and after years of trying EVERYTHING, I have landed on this brand as my absolute. It's been about 4 years of using this product, even with $30-$40 products in between, I always go back to this brand. I've never experienced any clumps and even when my unruly lashes are at their worst, they still touch my eyebrows and seem to be the same length. I do use an eyelash comb to help the chaos daily but as long as it's not an old tube, you'll be beyond impressed with he results. Im a restaurant manager and I have customers daily ask me what my secret is and when I say this brand, they really scratch their head.
