October 17, 2007, 6:49 pm I am not blessed with flawless skin, and I'm too lazy to take much time with foundation in the morning, so this is really a lifesaver. It takes about a minute to sweep a small amount all over my face, and it covers better (and more naturally) than most mineral foundations I've tried. It blends in well and doesn't change color over the course of the day. It's great for evening out the complexion and toning down redness. As with all powder foundations, it's definitely important to keep your skin exfoliated and moisturized, otherwise every flake and dry spot is emphasized. October 17, 2007, 6:49 pm

    Difficult, Dreadful, and Doubtful

May 5, 2008, 5:03 am While sifting through all the shades isn't difficult enough, at eight to thirteen dollars, this can be a drag to shop for. However, I managed to find a shade close to my skintone but left me rolling my eyes as another mineral formula failed to impress me. One positive aspect is that it does have a more matte finish and yellow undertones compared to a product line such as Maybelline Mineral Power but this was a chalked on mess. Not only was the brush included unuseful, it was stiffer in the middle and looser on the outter hairs which left streaky uneven application all through out the face, how inconvenient. Now, I don't mean to sound like a snob to L'Oreal as they make some of the finest lines but this gave me a reason to doubt when the day wore on and found that the chalky mineral makeup foundation wasn't even on my face anymore but had been easily rubbed off. This is definitely better applied with a much larger kabuki brush but don't expect it to be your cosmetic staple anytime soon as you'll see your complexion either shiny in a couple hours or uneven from the application flaws. In My Opinion......Horrible

March 27, 2008, 9:39 pm I have extensively oily skin. After two hours of wearing almost any type of foundation, I have to use blotting tissue every 1/2 hour to soak up the oil spill! I bought this makeup, thinking that because of the powder base, plus the fact that it is mineral makeup and touted as being good for the skin, it would allow me to have less of the oil spills. Wrong! Not only did I constantly have to use face powder to soak up the oil, but the feel of this on my face was that of a stone statue. It felt extremely tight, cakey and just allover nasty. I could not wait to get home from work and wash this stuff off! The orangy color that it left my skin looking didn't lift my spirits, either! Never again! Just threw 15 bucks into the garbage. Oh well...live and learn. March 27, 2008, 9:39 pm

May 25, 2008, 10:39 am This product gives great light to medium coverage, and does not smother my skin like heavy liquid foundations can do. The powder foundation controls oil, so it does not need to be touched up as often as a liquid. If your skin tends to be dry, I would recommend using a good moisturizer, because the coverage isn't as even on very dry skin. Overall, I am very happy with this product, and believe it is a great buy for someone who wants even coverage without completely covering up their skin, and is a better value than more expensive mineral foundations. better than Bare Escentuals!

I think ease of use is about the same, though I like L'Oreal's brush better as for some reason, every brush I got from Bare Escentuals shed all over my face *and* made my skin itch. Not to mention the cost is much much better. I bought the foundation, the concealor and the mineral finish and it was still less than the start up kit for Bare Minerals (which does not include the mineral veil which they really suggest you use). So yeah, I 'm a convert! March 25, 2008, 11:21 am

My only problem is that my shade flies off the shelf and I can't always find it but it is worth the wait. December 10, 2007, 12:27 pm

May 23, 2008, 12:56 pm I have somewhat blotchy, uneven and freckled skin. I have always used some type of foundation to even out my skin tone and as a base for makeup. When I discovered this line of mineral foundation at the local drug store, I was shocked with the results. The tone matched my skin perfectly and has a natural coverage that is second to none! HINT: Use a liquid foundation around eye orbital area to prevent the appearance of lines and wrinkles! I am nearly 40 and many think I look much younger. This is an outstanding value and doesn't clog my pores at all. May 23, 2008, 12:56 pm

They dumped out foundation on a kleenex and then used a different brush. Now I know why. It is hard to use. I get too much on the brush given and then it makes me look too dark. You have to unscrew too things so it takes longer. I have wasted alot. It spilled out. I liked how it looked but don't know that I would buy it again because of the way it is desgined. Favorite Mineral Foundation

    by saabcat86 (19 reviews)
The color is a perfect match for my very light skin. Also I have sensitive skin and this foundation does not irritate it. The coverage is buildable, meaning you can add more powder to achieve better coverage. Gives my skin a flawless natural finish. April 29, 2008, 10:42 pm
