  Still Together After All These Years

  When I was still in high school, I read that it is important to start early to keep ones skin looking young, so I started right then to moisturize my skin daily. I chose Oil of Olay, as it was called back then, because it contained aloe and was light and never greasy, absorbing quickly into my skin, leaving it feeling moist... not oily. When times were difficult financially I would buy the store brand which seemed almost as good. Then when going through my aunt's belongings after she passed away I found several bottles of the Olay active hydrating beauty fluid (she was a hoarder and never missed a good buy). I was concerned that it might have expired and, not finding a date on the bottle, I called the company's 800 number. They told me this product would last virtually forever without going bad and if it smelled ok it would be fine to use. That said a lot to me of the purity of this product. So I began using the name brand once again. What a nice surprise when my daughter asked if I was using the real Olay lotion again, because I smelled just like when I would tuck her into bed at night when she was small. It does have a very pleasant and unique scent. I think I'll stick with the real Olay from now on. December 6, 2007, 10:24 pm

  Family Secret!!!

  From my grandmothers, to my mom-this has been in every medicine cabinet of my family. When I was younger, I thought it was "stupid" to worry about my skin and wrinkles! Boy have times changed!! I now know how GREAT this lotion is! I have used it since I hit my 40's and I get alot of "wrong" answers when ...asked about my age! I recommend this product not because of the way it seems to eliminate wrinkles, but also on mornings when I have been out late, using this after my morning shower makes my skin come back alive and fresh.   Fountain of Youth

  Use this moisturizer daily! I tell my daughters even if it is a Saturday morning and they are getting ready to rush out to the day to be sure to cleanse their faces and put on Oil of Olay--even if they don't have time for make up. Everyone thinks i'm in my 30's and so surprised to learn i'm in my 50's -- some have mistake...nly thought I was a friend of my daughter's shocked to learn I was their mom. So please don't ever change this product, please keep the same recipe!!!! Someone i met years ago when i was younger told me that was what they used & i remember at the time being shocked that they didn't look their age either :-) November 6, 2007, 2:46 pm

  This is not just your Mum's product!! There is a reason for this product to last so many decades!

  I have been seeing my Mum used this daily hydrating fluid sice my teens. So natually this is my first facial mositurzer. After I can afford buying some more expensive products, I stop using it. But my skin did not get any better by using those expensive produts. Also my skin started to get so sensitive that whatever prod...ucts containing any alcohol will cause rash on my face. My Dermatologist said I got Rosacea and I should use the prescription ointment only. But those ointment tends to be too oily and greasy. After using 2 treatments of Rosacea prescription ointment, I remembered the old Olay Hydrating fluid I used to love. I switched back to this beauty fluid last year. And so far I have not been bothered by thos old rosacea problems. I hope I won't jinx it by telling it loud to the world. But I do believe that there must be a reason for Olay Beauty Fluid to last so long in this high tech world. October 26, 2007, 2:13 am

  Three Generations of Great Skin!

  When I was very small, there was a scent that I associated with my wonderful, beautiful grandmother. It wasn't until I was in my thirtes and finally needed a light moisturizer that I tried Olay Original. The moment I opened the bottle, I was transported to Grandma's lap and remembered exactly when I first came to know that ...scent. Today my grandma is gorgeous 97 year young woman with the skin of someone 40 years her junior, and that pink Olay Beauty Fluid is still her ENTIRE regimin! You can imagine - my mother and I both have follwed in her example, though I will admit to adding more Olay items to my lineup! November 3, 2007, 11:43 am

  Memories

  As many other reviewers have shared, this was my first facial moisturizer too. My mother used it for years so I assumed it was only for "old" women. Then I saw my friend using it!! She had the most beautiful smooth clear skin for a thirteen year old going the rages of puberty. I immediately started using my Mo...m's and stayed true to the original (over 20 yrs) until just 5 years ago when I upgraded to the Regenerist line (again due to a friend's advice) and then just last year added the Definity Foam to my regimin. I love Olay and am a loyal user! This product is a wonderful basic daily moisturizer and I would highly recommend it for anyone not needing any "special" treatments. October 25, 2007, 6:37 pm

  Forget the rest - this is the best!

  I'm 60 and have used this product for over 30 years; people say I don't look over 40! This lotion absorbs quickly, is not sticky, doesn't interfere with make-up, doesn't get greasy as the day goes on and doesn't overwhelm you or those around you with a gaggy, sweet smell.   Does it's job

  I've switched to the UV version b/c I'm not sure why someone wouldn't choose that protection in their daily moisturiser, but this was the first daily lotion for my face that I ever used. It works well, but sometimes I don't like the faint smell it can have, although it dissapates pretty quickly. It's light and does it's j...ob and doesnt' interfere with my other facial products.   I remember using my Grammy's Olay. I loved the smell and the way it makes your skin feel. I used it alot as a young girl and teen. I do use other products as well but this particular product is always good to use for everyday moisturizing.   Bought it, and surprisingly loved it

  I have a tendency to wash my face with gentle products, but leave the moisture to nature, due to sensitive skin. Well, this is one of the few products that penetrates my skin and leaves it feeling hydrated and young. In the past I used cocoa butter lotion, but this is much lighter. I'm glad I bought it.
