Works...sort of

Until recently this was my favorite deodorant. Which is sad, because it only sort of works. I thought because it is a clear liquid it would be perfect for summer--no more white marks on my clothes! Wrong. It's a clear liquid when it goes on, but when it dries, there's still a bit of white to it. And that bit of white rubs right off (on my strapless dresses, especially). Another thing about that clear liquid? It takes a LONG time to dry. At first I tried being patient and walking around with my arms up in the morning until it dried before putting my clothes on, but it was taking SO long I just didn't have time for that anymore. Instead I would get dressed first, then put on my deodorant. But with that method, most of the liquid would rub off on the insides of my clothes. If you have the patience to put it on first and wait for it to dry, I did find it to be mostly effective. I always stayed very dry and only had the tiniest bit of odor at the end of the day. But if you get dressed while it's still wet, it rubs off on the clothes and doesn't work. I finally started looking for something new and find that I very much prefer Kiehl's. It's a lotion, so there's no waiting for it to dry and because it is absorbed like a lotion, it also doesn't rub off or leave white residue. — 1 month, 3 weeks ago

NO! SUCKS!

this really sucks. I was really excited after reading good reviews about it on the website but in reality its horrible. first of all, u put it on and its really sticky and wet. u have to keep your arms up if u want it to dry. Also it turns white and you can even see it on your skin after it dries. I think it smells weird even though it is fragrance free. now for the biggest problem, it didnt deodorize at all. I was embarrassed because I noticed that through out the day I started to smell a little. I went home during lunch, washed and put on something else that would at least make me smell nice. — 7 months, 2 weeks ago

A Bit Drying

Unlike other deoderants, this one was a bit drying to my underarms and even made them itchy. I prefer a stick deoderant to a rollon, so you do not have to wait for it to dry. On the plus side, I had no white marks from this one. — 3 years, 10 months ago

I started using this product when I was pregnant and couldn't stand the scent of any other deodorants. I love it because it works great and there is no yucky white residue! It is well worth the price, but I have found that not all Clinique counters keep it in stock, so when I buy it, I usually buy 2 or 3. — 4 years, 2 months ago

I love this product! All other deoderants give me an allergic reaction, but this one does not AT ALL. It is the only deoderant I can use. I also wear black EVERY DAY and the deoderant does not come off on my clothing. I highly recommend it. — 4 years, 4 months ago

Not my favorite antiperspirant

I sweat a lot, but my skin is too sensitive for Certain-Dri. I've found this antiperspirant to keep me drier than most drugstore ones, but I still sweat. Since it's fragrance-free, there is nothing to disguise the odor when I inevitably sweat. And sometimes the alcohol makes the product sting upon initial application. Overall, I much prefer Clarins Gentle Care Cream Deodorant. Active Ingredient: aluminum chlorohydrate 20.0%. Other Ingredients: purified water, urea, silica, alcohol denat., glycine, aluminum chloride, butyl stearate, sodium lauroyl sarcosinate, alcloxa, benzethonium chloride, trisoidum edta, methylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben. — 4 years, 5 months ago
