OK, as a cautious lipstick wearer myself, the idea of black lipstick is a bit terrifying. If you're like me, you could try an alternative -- black lip gloss. Since this is such a hot trend, it's sure to pop up in numerous collections. But Lancome has taken the lead by announcing a limited-edition lip set featuring a black gloss and a red lipstick.

The set will be available in November for $48, but they will only be selling 500 of them. If you've just got to have it, get on the wait list by calling (212) 705-2886. Or you can try your luck at buying it on Lancome's Web site in November.
