Picking a signature fragrance -- for you or someone else -- can be tricky. You want the fragrance you choose to perfectly capture the essence of the person who will wear it. Plus you want the fragrance to smell amazing -- to mostly everyone who will come into contact with you or the person you're buying it for.

There are some basic things to consider when selecting a fragrance. They include the personality of the person it's for, their taste in food, their favorite smells, and even their movie and music preferences. Considering all of these things while being overwhelmed by multiple fragrances at a department store counter or at stores like Sephora and Ulta is nearly impossible. It's stimulation overload. That's where this quiz comes in.

I don't even know how mine came out to be spicy, when I said I like berry and peach scents. It shoud've came out as a fruity scent, which as what I like. I guess they leaned in more to the other answers I gave.

Not accurate. I love sweet, summery fragrances and I got spicy. I don't like spicy/musky perfumes.
