The day before your wedding: Have a manicure/pedicure

When it comes to nails, Schlip says to get manis and pedis done the day before -- not a few days before or the day of the wedding. You wouldn't want to have any chips or smudges in your polish -- especially for those close up shots of your hands/rings.

Be careful about SPF in makeup though--some kinds can give your face a whitish cast in photographs.
