7 Ways to Make Thinning Hair Look Great

Use velcro rollers

Need a little something special for a night out? Avoid excessive heat damage (which can exacerbate hair loss) by using velcro rollers. Here's how:

Step 1: On dry hair, coat hair with a light heat-protecting hair spray and roll 1-inch sections up in velcro rollers. Aerosol hairsprays work best on fine hair because they are lightest and typically offer different hold strengths, says Morrison.

Step 2: Blow dry hair all over and let cool. Remove rollers and finger comb to retain body and fullness.

A few helpful tips here, but many of us are thinning at the hairline or front of the crown. We couldn't do thick bangs even if we wanted to!

Nice article. Except I don't think heavy fringe is a good idea for hair that's thin for real. Normal fringe- maybe, but heavy one taking 1/4 to 1/3 of all hair (to look heavy)- no. Also it would be nice to see photos of ladies with actually thinner hair as an example. Most of the ladies have pretty nice hair.
