Even though I think mullets are super ugly, I actually think Gwen Stefani pulled off the mullet look and so did Pink with the mohawk, it fits her personal style. And perms... OMG, true story, my mom came home with a perm one day when I was four and I literally was crying like someone died because it was so ugly. Not only did she get a perm, but she cut her hair really short as well so it looked liked an Afro. Imagine that, an Asian lady with an Afro perm, not cute.

All of these looks were on-trend at the time that these celebs were sporting them. Why ridicule them for following the trend of the moment, when so many others were wearing the same hairstyles?

I agree with everything except Pinks look. I think her minimalistic mohawk even worked for her, but of course I prefer her without it :D

Remind me why we're making fun of people who had 80s hair IN THE 80s?? Also agree with previous commenter re: natural curls. Nothing wrong with going natural and the big hair was trendy then! Don't we normally praise the starts who stay on top of the current trends?
