Cleopatra Milk Bath
Cleopatra, the queen of the Nile, is probably one of the most famous "home beauty" fans. One of her greatest beauty secrets was long relaxing milk baths. Here is a modern day twist on her ancient recipe using common household ingredients.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
1 tablespoon dried mint
Peel of 1 orange
2 cups boiling water
1 9 ounce box of dried milk
Directions:
Pour the boiling water over the rosemary, mint and orange peel and allow it to steep until cool -- strain off the liquid and mix in the dried milk. To use, pour the herbal milk solution into your bath under the running water. Soak in the tub. Rinse the milk off of your skin and follow up with a light natural oil such as almond or light sesame oil.

Lots of helpful stuff in the article but wish they would mention how the homemade hair products effect color treated hair. WE strive to be all natural but highlights are my weakness though I moving more toward natural products for that too. What can I say I live in Boulder CO. Will any of these things strip my color?
