Oscar 2008 Best and Worst Beauty Looks
From Heidi Klum to Ellen Page, find out who we deemed red-carpet worthy and whose looks you should copy for prom hairstyles and other glamorous events
Best Looks: Most Dramatic, Heidi Klum
Heidi's chic, mod look was one of the most talked about of the night -- and she's not even a movie star. Makeup artist Linda Hay created sultry, false-lash heavy (and mascara loaded -- she applied four coats of volumizing mascara!), shimmering eyes paired with bronzed skin and matte pink lips. Key products she used: Very Sexy Mosaic Eye Shadow in Satisfied, $18; Very Sexy Perfect Lipstick in Whisper and Spontaneous, $12. Hairstylist Helena Faccenda whipped up a masterpiece with the perfectly polished bouffant bun. It took her two hours to create, so you might not want to try it at home. It involved a ton of backcombing, but only one small hair extension piece, which made it all the more impressive. Only Heidi could pull off such a dramatic 'do and have it look modern and gorgeous.

The "best" looks were all FABULOUS! And Ellen Paige was a little plain but not "worse."
