Lancôme review: "This eye cream was a great product. It felt nice on the skin (a bit heavy) but I liked the texture. There was no obvious scent. It mixed well with my makeup. I like the container because it allowed me to control the amount used without wasting any."

Dove review: "This eye cream was light and extremely smooth on my skin. My favorite thing about it was how non-greasy it felt. I liked the tube because the cream stayed airtight/unexposed and was great for travel. The product mixed well with my makeup and I was able to apply it before or after my moisturizer."

Results: "The skin around my eyes felt more taut with the Lancôme, but with both creams, it hasn't changed in appearance. I haven't noticed any change in lines or dark circles."

I liked seeing all of the photos. Lesson learned? Prevention to aging is the key! Many of them could have been mistaken for being in their seventies and eighties.

I saw maybe 2 photos of the 20 where there was any discernable change. Maybe you can make the argument that the placebo effect boosts confidence, but I'd much rather have my confidence boosted for $10 than $80.

I found this article sad, scary and depressing: None of these creams, expensive or cheap, actually work. Doesn't bode well for my future face!!!!!!!!!

Maybe it's just me, but I really can't see a difference in the before/after photos of any of these examples. I get that the user might sees a difference because they're applying the product, and they surely critique their lines and wrinkles more than anyone else. But really, I don't see any changes at all in the photos!

I really hope that either the ladies lied about their age, or the person writing the article was nice to lower the number, cause those eyes/wrinkles look good 10-15 years older. I wish each lady just had one product to test. Right eye-left eye, different light, and different facial expressions really make it impossible to tell if there's any difference at all. So the idea is great, but the way it was brought to life can be improved

Some of the after photos were worse than the before. Sad that the creams don't do much. Clinique all about eyes roller works well for puffiness but as far as creams go I use whatever i have. Good article.

Not At All Impressed-when you're 20's to a cream is definitely a good thing to use-starting in the 30's a must-after that I don't believe creams will help much but we will still use them-the real answer is an eyelid lift and even fat injections under the eye. That should do it-but make sure you find the right doctor.

I saw a mild improvement in a couple of pictures but for the most part, none of the products gave dramatic results.

wow this was really dissappointing seeing that most of these women didn't get a signifigant result. like a few others suggested, i'd like to see more trials like this, but make them blind studies so the participants don't know what products they're using.

Disappointing as it seemed there was n difference in any of the products or if there was it was too slight. I agree that photos often dont reflect exactly due to differences so maybe thats part of the problem. Doesnt encourage running out to spend money on them

This should have been a double-blind test so that the reviewers didn't know which products they were using. Branding has a significant influence on our perception of products.

One product I use for puffiness is Preparation H. Yes, that's right the hemorrhoidal cream. It shrinks swelling in hemorroids...I use it before bed and wake up without puffiness. Try it it. For lines keep you skin hydrated.

Of course cream arent going to take away the wrinkles. Its about aging gracefully and starting at a young age. My mother has always applied creams on her face and her eyes. My mother is 52 and has almost no wrinkles at all. If your young start already. Dont smoke cigarette's and drink lots of water.

I'm in the 70's and I know from experience that there is NO cream that is going to take away wrinkles or puffiness on any part of your face. The only way is through plastic surgery, laser treatments or other treatments obtained in a doctor's office. Don't waste your money on any cream, no matter what the hype!

I wish you had broadened the number of product comparisons. It would have been nice to see at least ONE eye cream - at any price - that seemed to work consistently! However, the before and after photos were really helpful.

Eye cream is so tricky & expensive! I have just been using virgin coconut oil to hydrate my under eye area instead and it is just as effective as every other cream I have tried.

What a worthless article! The "after" photo is lighted differently from the "before." How can you compare?? Maybe the rest of the photos are better, but I'm not going to waste my time finding out.
