The Frizzy-to-Fabulous Curly Hair Makeover
See how Total Beauty reader Rachael's curls go from unruly and two-toned to sleek and bouncy
The makeupThe goal of Rachael's makeup look is to even out her skin tone. To accomplish this, Hollier uses a brush to apply a medium-coverage foundation (she used Kevyn Aucoin Beauty Liquid Airbrush Foundation, $45), which helps to "fill in the pores," says Hollier. On top of that, she applies Paul & Joe Beaute Stick Concealer, $24.80 to Rachael's under eye area and on any skin imperfections. Next a touch of apricot blush is brushed on the apples of her cheeks for a warm glow and a translucent powder is applied all over the face to set her look. For Rachael's eyes, Hollier uses Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Lionfish, $20, a deep bronze color, across Rachael's upper lash line to accentuate her light blue eyes. Hollier finishes Rachael's natural, but polished look by applying a sheer pink gloss like Sephora Ultra-Shine Lip Gloss in Golden Pink, $4.
