Leslie Blodgett As Executive Chairman of Bare Escentuals, Blodgett has had her finger on the pulse of what's hot since launching the groundbreaking makeup product line BareMinerals in 1995. Luckily, Blodgett's taste has evolved along with the ever-evolving industry.
All of these pictures bring back memories for me...I had most of these styles. They were IN style back then and so they shouldn't be embaressed by them at all. We all wanted big huge hair and I wish it would come back in a way....MY hair does BIG AWESOME
This angers me slightly. I think big hair is super cute. it will come back in style again. I don't understand where the embarrassment comes in. I would be more embarrassed about some of the ugly trends developing today, such as the assymetrical bob.
Young women embraced 80s style in the 80s. So what? What'll they think of their 2011 looks in 2037? Make fun of Riza Hazan's 80s hair, but praise Lori Taylor's 2011 hair? Not much difference! Also, Carmindy's style is "simple", not "simplistic" - which means detrimentally oversimplify complex issue.
I kind of liked the eighties-it was a time you could be ahead of everyone else. Remember not being able to be free about wearing black clothing before then. I went through a very short period of black nail polish. Before then, not a chance. I have to say one mistake was the hard hair spray that made hair unmoveable-I can't even remember what it was that I used.
I don't think its bad per say, that was the style at the time. People in the future who see todays trends and style, might think that we are crazy too. I guess I'm lucky I grew up in the 80's too, I had the silly hair but I can blame it on my momma lol
