Doesn't it feel like a complete violation of privacy when someone ruffles through your purse? Forget the pat-down at airport security; it�s the guard digging through our tampons, Gas-X pills, and zit cream that really ticks us off. That's because a woman's purse is like the grown-up version of her old security blanket. But it's even better, since it holds everything we could ever need: cellphone, breath mints, credit cards, and that secret zipper for our unmentionables -- those really embarrassing beauty products we don't want anyone to know we own.

love the rosebud salve (although i could never get it to last FIFTEEN years!) and the a+d ointment - both are multipurpose miracle workers i wouldn't be ashamed to be found caught with in my purse :)

Weave, toothbrush and tongue scraper are definitely something to be embarrassed by! They just seem like things you shouldn't have in your bag no matter what! Hahaha, I want a Bump it!!

I laughed about the weave in your bag. I could relate, not that I have ever worn a weave but about ten years ago I cut my waist long hair and had the stylist put it in a ponytail and then chop it off. I save that dang ponytail forever swearing I was going to donate it to the place that make wigs for people with cancer. Too many time I had people over and somehow it would get exposed in a drawer that I opened that I left it not very well hidden in. It ALWAYS grossed people out. I finally got rid of it after moving apartment and dragging it with it like 3times-weird I know.

Some of those are really kind of gross... but diaper rash ointment really is good for adult skin too! I get razor bumps pretty bad which is NOT cute during bikini season. I put some on right after I shower, and it's really helped keep them to a minimum.

I think whatever works for you is fine, BUT 15 year old floss you stick your finger in all the time, and the toothbrush that doesn't get washed, by the sound of it, are super disgusting. Also, why not use those tiny makeup pouches for items you don't want others to see?

I'm sorry I just can't see the importance of having an extra piece of weave in my purse unless I have the glue to go with it. It can't possibly be in good shape after mingling with everything else I rummage in and out of my purse...lol. Just imagine grabbing your lip balm and there is a piece of someone else's hair all over it...ewww.
