For long-haired ladies, just ask to have one side shaved (between the hairline and ear) for a peek-a-boo edgy look -- don't have your stylist shave it all around though. If you have shorter hair that's cut into a bob, have your stylist cut the sides and under layers fairly short to get the edgy effect.
