Before you sign up for those spendy yoga classes or personal training sessions, look at what the famous "Friend's" at-home yoga workout did for our writer
After a month of hard work, it's time for the results, and I am very pleasantly surprised! I ditched almost five inches and lost 12 of my dreaded freshman 15 pounds. In a month.
My body looks better, I have more energy, and I'm more relaxed. I've gained lots of confidence and I'm no longer hiding under layers of baggy clothing. Not bad for $14.95 and a little determination.
Very inspirational! Yogalosophy is fascinating and I want to try it. I know that exercise can become addictive; I was working out every day last year. I hurt my foot and had to quit and really noticed a sense of lethargy and a "need" to move again.
Wow, I'm impressed by her results, good for her! I've had a lot of luck with Jillian Michaels "Ripped in 30" program, I might have to check out one of her yoga DVD's now!
Way to go! It sounds really nice..I wish I could do it..I have no cartilage in my knees, so lunges and squats are out! I don't know when I can have any surgery procedures. I am wondering if I can modify it at all? Surely, I can do some of it!
Very nice... I enjoyed this article. But I am afraid of yoga....for some reasons I fear that I won't be able to do it. But I will try and incorporate some in my routine...a few moves and a little at a time.
This is awesome! I love that yoga can help not only your outer appearance, but your inner health as well (like the ability to sleep better which I really need!). I also love the idea of not having to go to a gym and buy all kinds of memberships. If I can get these kinds of results from the comfort of my home then I'm in!
She looks so good! A lot of the "celeb body" stories seem to end without a lot of visible results--- but in this case there is no denying her dramatic change. I already love yoga and I'm about to check out this DVD.
Excellent article. I love the honesty about some of the struggles she faced during the month. I've also really missed doing yoga but can't afford local classes, so I may just give this DVD a try!
One of the best stories I've read. I'm not necessarily "overweight" but I can definitely stand to lose a few pounds. I've always considered my stairs and labor intensive job would be enough, but hearing about your energy increase and ability to sleep better is enough for me to be interested. I will definitely have to look into this dvd, and hopefully be able to stick with it (for once). By the way, you look fantastic!
I absolutely love Mandy's dvd yoga work out. It's fantastic. It's much different from many of the others I have and the actual classes I've taken. There have been some fantastic teachers and they always move on to better and bigger things. I always wanted to know how Jennifer Aniston kept in such incredible shape and she mentioned Mandy many times, so of course I wanted to see the results I would get. She's great, easy going and at the same time gives you a great work out. Jen says she does spinning and the eliptor and weights as well, so she says she mixes it up, but Mandy has been her true inspiration and introduction to yoga and believe me, she's right! Yogalosophy, buy it. Worth every cent. You'll love the yoga mat she makes showing all the things she wants to accomplish and it's brilliant. I've made one..it's just like a wish board. You put your dreams and words of inspiration on there and it's even more motivating.. Love it!
I love this article! I am 5'3" and 165 pounds. Obviously I'm overweight and to see a woman with a body that I can actually accomplish, is so refreshing (you look amazing!)! I am going to try this! Not only do I need to lose weight, but I need stress relief just as bad. Thank you so much for this! =)
