I HONESTLY love the way Aniston looked back in '92 with that gorgeous red hair and that, i don't know, REAL-looking face? Now she looks false, over-done and almost witch-like. The way she smiles almost looks like she's in pain. Look what society's done to her! These celebs looks WAY more REAL in the "past" pictures as opposed to the "celeb" pictures. Although Kim Kardashian looks more.. "the way she should" now, she looked more real back in the day (minus the overly-done cleavage, which I feel could still be toned-down to a natural level), she looks way too fake and overdone now. :( sadface. As much as people "envy" celebrities, I actually pity these poor girls, who are almost expected to tell us to feel great about our natural selves while in reality they're forced to look like and almost become someone completely different than they were born to be! :(

I thought Ashlee Simpson's before was better. She looked anorexic in the after photo. Some of the comments were so wrong, Jennifer Aniston did not have a "big" nose before, and Sarah Jessica Parker's nose looked the same in both photos.

It is better to look natural. Every one looks beautiful in their natural self one way or another. As the saying goes Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, it is better to love ourselves for who we are than to love/make others love for who we have changed surgically.

It's hard to believe that some of these celebrities weren't always as galmmed-out as they are now! I mean, some of them were still really pretty, but others (Katy Perry were kind of wierd looking. It's almost a relief that they got famous, so they could get "makeovers".

Calling Ashlee Simpson "chubby" in that shot is a crime against women. She looked perfectly healthy. Also, I wasn't aware that short hair, pale skin and natural eyebrows were the definition of ugly. Honestly, I'd like to see what the Golden Goddess of Beauty who wrote this article looks like.

Since one star was the lowest rating that's what I chose. If there was a lower rating, I definetely would have chose it. What is wrong with these people? This is another example of why people out there have self confidence and self esteem issues. I didn't think any of the befores were that horrible. maybe that was the style at that time or maybe the pictures were taken at a randon event or moment when the celebs were not at their best. I like Kim K but she did look way too tan in the before. No one was scary or even that bad. I think the wording of the article should be toned down. Everyone already has issues with their looks and pointing put flaws doesn't make anyone better than anyone else.

It's articles like this that lead to young women having self esteem issues, eating disorders, etc. If not being "perfect" equals looking "scary", then 99% of women in this world are "scary". I'm done with this website. Hopefully, you don't damage too many young women.

Maybe not airbrushed, perfect and plastic, but there was nothing hideous or worth the snarky tone of the article in the before pictures. Being in the spotlight is not easy. We've all had our less than perfect days.

I don't like the language used when describing these pictures. It's often harsh and presumptuous. To whomever writes/edits this: you can make funny/clever/snappy remarks re: these people's looks but there's no need to use really dismissive, insulting language just to prove a point that may not be there. Don't make a "big nose" seem hideous compared to a "svelte little nose" [or curly hair inferior to straight hair]-- especially, when it appears that said body part is the one thing that HASN'T changed. The tone of this piece is just very.... off.
