Best Braid Style No. 5: Knots on Knots No braid skills? No problem. Odds are you know how to tie a basic knot. That's all this simple knotted braid style requires of you. (Hallelujah.)
How to:
1. Apply a smoothing serum, such as Living Proof Satin, to prevent flyaways.
2. Create a deep side part, and gather all of your hair on the side of your head, opposite to the part. Then divide the hair into two equal sections.
3. Keeping the hair nice and smooth, tie the two sections into a regular knot. (We know it sounds weird, but trust us, it works.)
4. Grab the two tail ends of your knot, and tie another.
5. Continue knotting your hair until you run out of length. Secure the end with a clear elastic.
6. Gently tug on the knots to loosen them for a more tousled, casual look.
7. Mist with a medium-hold hairspray.

Great ideas, I sometimes forget that these styles exist too, besides just having your hair down or waved/curled up.

I like braided hairstyles. They add such texture and femininity. I\'ve been using braided styles on my medium length hair as I grow it out, and am looking forward to more length to try more braid styles.
