I expected to see how a woman does her own hair. I blow dry my hair exactly the way it is described and never get good results. Also it is very much time consuming and very hard to do.

I still don't know how a paddle brush helps to get sleek straight hair XP I'll still buy to brush my hair after I apply products to it. I heard using a comb too much can cause split ends :O

I havea carpal tunnel and even brushing the back of my hair is hard. However i bought the new conair rotating hairbrush styler and dryer and it makes my hair look like I just came from the salon! And so EASY to use!!

Excellent content in the article, but three or four of the photos show the stylist doing the opposite of the #1 rule...Blow the air DOWN the hair shaft, not at it...parallel to the hair, not perpendicular. Wish there were better photos. Then I'd give 10 stars.

Need tips for how to make my arms reach around the back of my head--which is why its so much easier for a stylist (or friend) to blowdry my hair! What about flat ironing after hair is blown out? I know a lot of stylists do this as a final step and it seems to help my coarse, wavy hair.

Another tip, to get volume on top, section off the top of the hair and go in cross sections (like you are drying bangs but so the whole top in sections like that) and bring each section up and forward while drying

this was cute and informative lol. but you guys failed to mention that you must use a heat protectant every time you blow dry your hair. you can use all those serums mentioned, but it wont be too great if you dont use a heat protectant or something to condition your ends.

I have fine straight hair. I towel wrap my hair for about 5 minutes, spray it with Infusium 23 Maxium body formula, leave in conditioner, comb it through, dry my hair hanging upside down aiming at the roots (takes a lot less time, give it a cool blast, stop after about 4 minutes for about 5 minutes and repeat. I finish my bevel cut ends with a curling brush. This process is fast, uses less heat and does a bang up job on giving me a lot of body and shine.
