10 Best Lip Balms -- and the 5 Worst -- for Dry Lips
You know how a great lip balm gets your lips smooth and soft instantly -- and a bad one takes forever to work on dry lips (if it works at all)? Here's what to pick, and what to skip, for your softest lips ever
Why: One user feels cheated by this lip balm's claim that it infuses dry lips with vitamins A, E and shea butter, because "after a couple minutes, it dries out on the lips and just disappears." Reviewers were also unhappy with the white coloring the balm gives their lips.
"You can taste the oily, buttery substance in your mouth from your lips," one user complains. "It goes on white so I only wear it to bed." Another user was so disenchanted with the product that she tossed it before using it all up.
"I was so unimpressed with it, I finally just threw it out without finishing the tube (rare for me, even with products I don't care for)," she says. "The scent and flavor did not at all match up to what it was supposed to be and I didn't find it to be moisturizing at all." All in all, a total fail for dry lips.
