7 Best (and Worst!) Dry Shampoo
See which hair care products will become your dirty-hair lifesavers and which actually make hair greasier
The Worst: No. 1: TRESemme Fresh Start Volumizing Dry Shampoo, $4.49TotalBeauty.com average reader rating: 3.5*
Why: One woman exclaims, "this product did the exact OPPOSITE of what it was supposed to do. It left my hair feeling greasy, heavy and flat. It also left a heavy gunk all over my brush that wouldn't wipe off; I had to soak the brush in shampoo to get it off. It's a complete waste of money." Another reader says this "has to be one of the worst products I have ever bought! I bought this shampoo in an effort to ease up on my wash-my-hair-every-day routine. My hair wasn't really that dirty when I tried it, but boy did it look FILTHY after using this stuff on it. My hair actually felt dirty, itchy and heavy after applying it. I don't want this near my hair again! Save your money, baby powder would work far, far better."
