7 Best (and Worst!) Dry Shampoo
See which hair care products will become your dirty-hair lifesavers and which actually make hair greasier
The Worst: No. 3: Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo Spray, $11 TotalBeauty.com average reader rating: 5.8*
Why: Readers were sorely disillusioned saying, "I've read so many good things about this product, so I was disappointed when I first used it and it left residue in my hair -- even though I brushed it out as the directions said. And, after using it three or four times, it no longer sprayed (I tried rinsing the nozzle). I was forced to toss it." Other complaints: "I still noticed greasiness even after I had just applied it," and "my boyfriend said it smelled like bug spray." One woman says she loves the product, but not the can it comes in: "I love this spray, but the bottle is empty quicker than a New York minute. This stuff is not cheap, and after two or three times there is no more left … Poof! All gone."
