Braids have been big since the Spring 2010 Alexander Wang runway show -- and that was actually in September 2009. Sure, they've evolved from thick ropes to more intricate fishtail styles, but it's about time for a real change. Instead of the hanging versions, Corby thinks braided updos are the next big trend: "I'm going to be braiding like crazy this season -- but I'm taking them up," he says. "Whenever you think braids are going to go away, we stylists find a way to incorporate them." He also thinks it's a reflection of the times: "People are still in a hippie mood -- so it's got to be a little natural."

I want to try the faux bob and one night highlights but I still like my bangs so will not be going wispy yet (maybe when I am ready to grow them out). Also maybe this article is old (seeing how it is almost November) but a lot of these styles have been out a while.

Meh. This was entertaining, but I guess I don't believe in following hair trends that closely. If something works with your face shape, hair type, etc. I think it's mostly ok to stick with that if you're happy with it. (That is to say--I don't care that they're saying pixie cuts are out. It fits my face and my personality so I'm keeping it!)

I like the ombre layers and the straight waves. The looks appear very simple and easy to do and I sleep with my hair in braids anyway to prevent tangles, I love that I can turn it into a style!

They could have picked a better picture for the layered bob, that woman's hair looks fried and horrible. As a natural curly head, I'm definitely not liking the "straight" curl idea. Just let curls be curls!
