Tip 3: Don't paint your face Question: What makeup look do you think is sexiest?

Answer: "Painting a whole new face on top of your face isn't attractive, so subtle makeup is good. Eyeliner and a subdued lip gloss are probably all you need. Maybe mascara. Watch out with foundation or powder or whatever it is you call it. If it's obvious you have it on -- and it often is -- it's not a good look."

this article is an excellent reminder that beauty maintenance, not more product, is everyone's best bet. I grew up with 2 brothers and learned a LOT by listening to them "critique" women around us....LOL. Just too funny!

Some of this is just common sense. I don't think the average woman walks around super hairy everywhere with a unibrow and alligator skin. And every guy is different, I'm sure if you ask him what he likes he will just tell you. I know guys who hate makeup and others who prefer you do SOMETHING to yoursef before you walk out the door.

Question: I spend extra time in the shower shaving off everything. Is any body hair a turn off? Answer: "Depends where it is. Shave your legs and pits. Your ... area is more up to you as long as it's kempt." LOL - loved this answer - so funny. Your 'area' needs to be 'kempt'! ROFL I do hope the respondents then do their own version of man-scaping and are 'kept' as well. Good grief!

This one's on the mark. One thing I hear guys talking about is long hair. It's like they are crazy over long hair, but mine is all talk. He usually doesn't even notice when I cut mine unless it is extremely different. I think most guys prefer a natural look.

I take this with a huge sense of humor so don't get the wrong idea when I say this. I think it's exhausting how guys throw contradicting ideas ALL the time when it comes to how they want women to look and act. They say "don't worry about taking an hour to get ready" yet they cringe at the little details that are skipped because they think "that girl doesn't take care of herself if she doesn't do that". This goes along with the maaany other ideas "I want her to be fit but I want her to eat hearty." etc. COME ON!

Really thoughts were usefull. However, most of these are common sense if your experience. If you new to all the dating, I would highly recommend newbies to listening to this. I the eye brow one was really funny.

Way to go Ky! Couldn't have said any better myself. As much as the ladies don't want to hear it, guys can give you some decent advise when it comes to making yourself appealing to us. As in any case, guys don't want a girl who "over does it". Keep it simple. Avoid the tranny looking eye lashes, unhealthy looking tan, caked on make-up, perfume that I restricts me from breathing and hairy legs, and you'll be alright.

Always great to hear from a man's perspective. I completely agree about the soft skin. I have always been good about moisturizing and keeping my skin smooth. That has always been the number one comment i get from dates...about how soft my skin is.
