I really liked Jennifer Hudson's hair. I took a picture of it so I can show my stylist to see if it would fit me. My hair is in a bob now and I like it because its quick and easy to style. I am all about my hair looking neat and having simple style that I can do myself at home. Even though Ashanti's hair was on the worst list, I thought it was very classy and elegant. Jada looked amazing!

This article could not help black women in any way. Washing your hair with shampoo every other day is the WORST advice you could give to a black woman. Our hair is dry and washing so frequent will make it brittle. Most natural females co-wash. Next time I advise doing research before trying to give advice.

These are my favorites: Jada (I'm acually considering making that hair style my "signature" style), Halle, Gabrielle and Jennifer. I love hair styles that are classy, simple and easy to maintain (isn't it obvious that I dont' do my own hair?). But at the same time I agree with Jennifer's statment.

Who wrote this? This was obviously created by a Caucasian American who instead of basing the best and worst hair styles on whether the hair looked good or bad (with the exception of Eve) based it on the condition of the hair. When I say condition I mean if the hair is "dry and brittle" or not. 1. We don't use many of the products recommended. Products like Redken and Neutrogena are not sold in African American haircare stores because its they are not made for our hair. 2. Pulling our hair back and other styles listed like Queen Latifahs hair doesn't damage our hair to an excessive extent. Pulling your hair back too tight is bad for anyone and good hair care begins with the person. Washing and conditioning every 2 weeks as well as going to a professional who can give you maintenance advice is a good start. 3. Cassie is not African American nor should be in this article. Her hair texture is a totally different texture than the majority of African American hair thus she can use different products. 4. Most of these women have weaves and their real hair isn't being damaged at all. Total Beauty should do a little bit more research or have an actual African American person write articles geared towards black people because this was all wrong.

Alot of times many black celebrities have a weave in their hair (aka a sew in). Many people think this is their actual hair because it looks very natural when it is done properly. We must also take into consideration the different hair care and if it is even obtainable to achieve the same styles with black hair and "mixed" hair textures.

I thought that Tyra Banks' hair looked really nice! It polished without being stuffy. I wish I could pull off soemthing that unique. I think there needs to be some clarification here when it comes to the difference between a style actually looking bad and a style that is bad because it damages your hair.
