10 Best and Worst Frozen Foods You Can Eat
When you're stocking up on frozen food for those no-time-to-cook nights, here's what to avoid -- and the healthier alternatives that won't wreck your diet
The Worst: Kashi Sweet and Sour Chicken
The Kashi brand usually offers quality meals with top-notch ingredients. But this dish has a whopping 25 g of sugar -- which is more than what you'll find in two Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
For a less saccharine option, try Kashi's Lemongrass Coconut Chicken, which has a much more reasonable 6 g of sugar per meal.

Ugh! I am so skeeved out by most frozen foods or pretty much anything that is quick and you can toss in the microwave. Most of that stuff has so much sodium in it that it scares me. I know its time consuming to cool a meal from scratch but I'm starting to think that it may be worth it in the end.

I am grossed out by the stats given here and very dissapointed in many of these brands. I don't eat frozen foods as a rule but many of my family members do. I will be passing this info on!

I would have like to try the suggestions but even in a big city area, I don't see many of these brands. I have to admit part of my eating frozen food depends on the taste and not as much the calories or amount of ingredients. I do prefer less artificial, but I try to make pre-packaged foods healthier by adding fresh ingredients to them and herbs.
