A shoot featured in the pages of Vogue Netherlands is garnering attention on Twitter, because it shows a bare-breasted model nursing a baby. The shoot, meant to evoke old Dutch masters paintings, features model Ymre Stiekema suckling a baby at her teat.

Model breasts in fashion mags are nothing new, of course. Tons of fashion spreads purportedly meant to feature clothes also contain artful photos of topless (and even bottomless) models. Some are deeply sexualized, but others are simply utilizing the human form as a prop for the clothing.

This isn't Vogue Netherlands' first go at the controversy rodeo. Back in April, the mag came under fire for a shoot featuring models in blackface.
