Why Are These Beauty Queens Butt-Naked?

Former Miss USAs go buff for PETA

Former Miss USA pageant winners Shanna Moakler, Alyssa Campanella, Shandi Finnessey, and Susie Castillo posed nude for a PETA anti-fur ad released on Thursday, and we have a few thoughts on the subject. None of them are animal-rights related.

The first thought: airbrush much? For a campaign that's centered on the tagline "Feel beautiful in your own skin, and let animals keep theirs," it's kinda ironic that untold man-hours probably went into the re-touching and Photoshopping of these gorgeous girls. How many so-called "flaws" were sacrificed in the making of this picture?
