How To Treat Blackheads

Tips for getting rid of those pesky blackheads

Facials are a great way to cleanse your face and treat blackheads that are a little more stubborn and difficult to remove on your own. You can give yourself a mini-facial at home, simply by pouring boiling water into a large bowl, then placing a towel over your head and resting your face just above the surface of the water (so that you do not burn your skin). By exposing your skin to the hot steam, you will open your pores up, making it easier to cleanse them afterwards and remove everything that is blocking your pores.

Or if you want the entire works, make an appointment with a professional facialist who has been trained to manually extract blackheads. This is an effective method to treat blackheads because the facialist will be able to physically remove the sebaceous matter from the pores, which will immediately make your skin look better.

There are many remedies that effectively treat blackheads, and by following these suggestions on a weekly basis, you will find that your skin is much clearer and smoother. You can say bye-bye to blackheads forever!

Tips for getting rid of those pesky blackheads

Blackheads are bumps on the surface of your skin that are usually dark brown or black in appearance. They are filled with dead skin cells and oil that clog your pores and most often occur on your nose, forehead and chin. While they can be unsightly, it is pretty easy to treat blackheads and by following these tips and suggestions, you will have clearer skin that is blackhead free in no time.

There are an array of effective home remedies that are used to treat blackheads, and many of the ingredients can be found in your very own kitchen. Warm honey is a great anti-bacterial agent that can be applied to your face and left on for approximately fifteen minutes before washing off. You can also use egg whites and spread on your skin, then wash off after thirty minutes. Or create your own home exfoliating product by mixing lime juice and salt together in a bowl, then scrubbing your face with it. Be sure to spend more time scrubbing the affected areas, in order to thoroughly treat blackheads. You will also want to do a face mask treatment at least one to two times a week, because face masks help pull excess oil from skin, removing blackheads and clearing the skin. Try Origins Clear Improvement mask, an activated charcoal mask designed to clear pores and dissolve impurities.
