A Few Reasons to Fall in Love With Derek Jeter

I never understood the appeal of Derek Jeter...that is, until I met him. I was blown away by how charming and engaging he is. He makes eye contact, and he listens when you speak. He's tall and athletic and dreamy. The fact that he has two fragrances -- Avon Derek Jeter Driven and the new, more intense version Driven Black -- makes perfect sense. What man wouldn't want to smell like Derek Jeter? (I considered dousing my husband in the scent after the launch event.)

Standing in front of a room full of beauty editors, Jeter smiled while answering questions and telling endearing personal stories. For example, he used to wear Cool Water, and he prefers the "spray and walk through" method of fragrance application. However, he says he would never put on cologne before a game. "Some guys do," he said. "You would be surprised...but I won't name names." Well, you can't blame them. If I were going to spend a few hours hanging out with Derek Jeter I'd put on some perfume, too. Unfortunately, Jeter has no plans to create a fragrance for women anytime soon.
