A Must-Use for Every Hair Type!
A fellow teacher came to school on a Monday and her hair was simply STUNNING--soft, smooth, and very shiny. I asked what she did, and she told me that her stylist recommended removing the buildup from shampoos, conditioners, and styling products periodically. She did so over the weekend with a mix of baking soda and water. You can do the same in a much easier manner with Neutrogena's "Anti-Residue" Shampoo. Warning, please: This is a strong shampoo, not meant for everyday use (once a week is more than enough). Be forewarned that, like Lush's "Big" Shampoo, any artificial hair color can and probably will be stripped with this. It doesn't lather well, and so you may find yourself using more than usual. I leave it in for several minutes. So why do it? Hair is completely refreshed and revitalized. Volume is greatly restored. Just about every last bit of unwanted, harmful chemicals wash down the drain when you rinse. This is appropriate for all hair types and may help those with oily hair to cut down on the times they need to shampoo. Don't expect silken strands when you're finished shampooing, however. Hair will be squeaky clean, but the shaft has been "disturbed" by the cleansing elements. Do NOT Use Every Day!
This Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo strips everything out of your hair, good and bad. If you have extreme build up, go for it otherwise stick with a more gentle shampoo for daily use. refreshing

Serious Hair Cleaning
This shampoo is very strong. It is so strong that my hair needs some serious conditioner after using this. It must be removing everything from my hair. I use it once or twice a month, but not as everyday shampoo. Refreshed Hair
I really like this shampoo because it cleans your hair and restores the moisture and gets rid of dryness. My ends felt better and shinier and the shampoo doesn't wear your hair done. I found this product to have a very medicinal smell. My hair felt extremely dry after use. It's good (for me) maybe once a month to get rid of product build-up. it works great

Hair saver
Even with colored hair, I use this clarifying shampoo once a week. It's really gently but deep cleaning. It gets the styling gunk out of my hair better than regular shampoo. After using my hair is so soft and easy to style. I get the volume back because it's not weighed down by residue. My colorist is cool with me using this too since it's so gentle but effective. It helps my color stay shiny without having to use a glosser and my hair is better able to absorb the deposits from the color boosting shampoo and conditioner. Great for de-gunking hair
I used this about once a week to deep clean and de-gunk my hair from product build up and oil. It leaves my hair clean, soft, and voluminous since it does wash every trace of oil and product out. It is a little bit drying, so it is definitely not a daily shampoo. But it does leave your hair and scalp feeling squeaky clean. The scent is clean and crisp, which I love.
