Good, but not sure it's great

Don't Love the Smell or Feel
I know some people that swear by this soap, but I always feel like it leaves a layer on my skin, a soapy residue. I also don't really like the smell of this product. Soaps in general are messier than bottles of cleanser, so I'm just really not a huge fan of this product. Classic
I have used this since my teens and still love it. Normally I use a liquid or cream but in the Texas summers, I like to switch to something a little more robust. I see comments about people having a film left on their skin but I have never had this. Maybe using the three step process with the toner be the answer. I find it very effective and great for travel. Can't explain it
I started using this as a teenager (like everybody else!). Over the years I've read enough slams and bad reviews about it to scare me away, intermittently. The thing is, I notice the difference in my skin when I don't use this. This soap seems to clean more thoroughly than anything else I've tried, so my skin looks and feels much fresher. Just the best!

Huge bar
It's like any regular facial bar soap - It's a huge bar and last quite a long time, and may I say the price is reasonable for a "name brand" skin care., but as I mentioned it's like any regular bar so might as well pay less and get the same effect from a drugstore soap bar. The soap i'll use forever
My skin is very sensitive, oily and acne-prone.... and this soap is the only one that can keep it all under control. I use it too in other acne-prone areas such as my chest and back and it's amazing. Surprise in a bar
The first time I used clinique's 3 step face products (including the facial bar soap) the results were incredible. Clear, even, hydrated skin that looked like new. However I made the mistake of playing product roulette and my skin was a disaster, broken out, dark spots etc... So I went back to using Clinique's bar soap and it once again it worked like magic, my skin was back to normal. Perfect and simple. This bar cleanses without drying and leaves my skin soft, supple, and balanced. The clinique 3-step system works really well. This bar is great, because unlike most soap bars, it doesn't melt or get messy and lasts a long time.
