This shampoo is a clear red, don't let that fool you into thinking it deposits any color though. That is still your color rinsing down the drain, so make sure you're using cold, filtered water and a color depositing conditioner. This shampoo is amazing for red color-treated hair, which as anyone who's ever gone red knows, is the hardest color to keep. Pureology's line is wonderful, sulfate-free and really helps me get the most out of my color. Like Pureology's other shamp'oil, a little bit goes a very long way.
