Not So Much

Didn't really care for the film it left on my hair. Used it while flat ironing my hair. Did help my hair stay straighter longer.

Quite expensive for these results...

I used tried two bottles of this product before giving up. This is a pretty expensive heat protectant, and I expected a lot more from it. Every time I used it on dry sections of hair, it smelled HORRIBLE, I almost thought it was burning along with my hair. My hair became very dull and lifeless once I was finished styling. There was no shine, and I had to add in shine products so my hair didn't loo...read morek dead... It did not protect my hair and seemed to take all the moisture out of my hair. I would not recommend this product, you can get better results from cheaper products.

Helped Me Grow out my Hair

I'd been having trouble grow out my shoulder length hair for some time before using Heat Defeat. I blowdry, curl, and straighten more than I should and my ends were constantly breaking off as a result. I began using this, spraying from my ends to about the middle of the strand before using any heat on my hair and I've noticed significantly less breakage. I've used better

I'm usually happy with the Frieda products but not this one. Yes, it made my hair straight but it wasn't soft or shiny like other products I have used. My daughter tried it and she didn't care for it either.

It's Alright, NotThe Best

I have armpit length, thin, frizzy, some what dry hair (its not as bad as it sounds) and I wanted a product that took out the frizz and protected my hair from heat appliances. This product definitely makes your hair look oily if you use too much (which isn't a lot). I wouldn't spray it directly onto your hair or it will look super greasy. Spray it onto your hands and rub through your hair like a ...read moreserum. This product also doesn't apply evenly, even when you comb through your hair after. I don't really know if it protects from the heat but if it does, its not noticeable. But it smells AMAZING oh my god I would use it as a perfume. Hope this helps! Btw, im 15

Hair protection

I use this every time that I flat iron my hair. It does not have a strong scent at all. Since I have been using it, I don't have any split ends and my hair looks smoother (I have very long hair and sometimes wait too long in between haircuts).

This turned out nice for my hair. It left it feeling nice and shiny at times. Gave it a nice feeling I would have to say. Some my friends have used and and loved the smell and how their hair stayed nice and straight through out the day.
