Excellent Cream Blush

I have this product in the shades Flushed and Coral Reef, which look very bright in the container but are sheer and give a healthy flush of natural looking color to the skin. I am very pale, sensitive and combination skinned and also 44 yrs old. These products are sheer enough not to overwhelm my fair skin, don't irriate my skin or cause break outs. They also don't settle into my fine lines like other cream blushes have done and have no shimmer. All in all, I think these are probably the best cream blushes in the drug store. Now, all of that being said I only gave 8 stars since there's only 3 shades and the price is pretty high for a drug store product.

My First Cream Blush

I was always afraid of cream blush. If I could barely apply powder blush without looking like a swooning clown, how in the world would I be able to look good with cream blush? However, Revlon's Photoready Cream Blush (I picked it up in Just Pinched, which is this really natural, peachy color) proved me to be so wrong, and now cream blush is one of my favorite beauty products. There's no way to go ...read morewrong unless you are intentionally trying really hard to look bad with these cream blushes, and these are really easy to use. All I do is swirl my finger in these in a circle, and sweep that onto my cheeks and blend out with my fingers, and I have a sheer (the color is buildable for times when I want something for noticeable, and they are not as scary bright as they look in the packaging), natural, beautiful flush of color for my cheeks. It feels silky smooth going on, and it doesn't accentuate or aggravate rough patches on my dry skin. After its on my cheeks, it has this really nice powder-like finish, and this lasts about seven hours, which isn't great but isn't bad. I adore this blush, but I wish they would come out with more colors. While other drugstore lines have blush lines with a huge selection of colors, this cream blush only has four colors, which is a shame considering how great the formula is. Also, this blush is slightly more expensive than other cream blushes in the drugstore. Overall, I really like this blush. It was my very first cream blush, and proved to me that cream blush was nothing to be afraid of by giving me a natural, beautiful flush of color very easily. However, it is expensive compared to other drugstore blushes, and it only has four colors in the line, so for these reasons, I see the possibility of repurchasing, but I also will likely try other blushes.

Great Layering, Blending - Matte, Not Dewy

UPDATE: I originally gave this item an 8 as described in the review below. However, for some reason I think the item dried out and became less blendable. I'm liking the product less and less as time passes and I feel like I have to add a lotion to blend it now. Still great for layering and a nice matte finish, but the consistency is changing. With one swipe the product easily blends into the face and is easy to use on the go, you can't mess it up. It provides a very beautiful flush. This is a cream that seems to become a matte blush upon application. No need to a blush over it or anything else to accent, just layer to perfection. Great item if you want color without any dewiness. I could definitely see how these colors would be universally flattering. UPDATE: I got the NYX cream blush and it's almost the same as this but it's more pigmented (not so much layering needed), doesn't blend as well as this product and provides a more creamy/dewy/wet look. Overall, I prefer the NYX stick best.

Pretty colors but wish there was more

I've had these since they came out and for a drugstore prodcut its very nice. They come in very limited shades and are a little on the pricier side for drugstore brand. I do like the formula and I do really like the colors they come in. Its creamy when you apply but it turns into almost a powder very blendable. The colors are bright but apply just perfectly onto the skin. I feel like it will wear ...read moreoff if you live in hotter climates or if your very active. I suggest to go over with a similar shade of powder blush for this blush not to go anywhere. They are all matte colors but give th skin a pretty glow. I suggest if you dont want to spend as muich on a high end cream blush, go for this one, but dont expect to save a whole lot. It will last you forever as a little goes a long way.

Cream blush

I think this drugstore blush is a little on the pricey side. But The colors are very pretty and all natural looking. The colors are pretty sheer so they give you a natural flush of color and give your cheecks a dewy look. The good thing about this is that this cream blush is super blendable and build able. This blush dosnt last though and def fades. This last only about 4 hours if that.
