    I Keep Going Back

It's not my favorite smell, and it is so heavy and DO NOT let it get on your skin; but my hair loves it. I have natural mixed girl curls and they look fabulous with this stuff. Moisturizes them, and defines them as long as I take the extra 5 minutes for a twist out. I will keep looking, but for the price you can't do better!

    Surprised by the negative reviews...

I personally thought this product went above and beyond my expectations. I'll admit-- I bought it for the name. Whipped Cream sounded like something that my dry, frizzy, and super curly hair would enjoy. You only need a super small amount; I mix a dollop of the mousse with one pump of Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum (my hair dresser said it's best to mix and mousse and serum for naturally curly...read more hair). The smell is strong but pleasant. Sometimes I blow dry my hair for looser curls but if I choose to air dry, this doesn't get crunchy at all.

Give it a chance to dry

I agree with other reviews that it can seem heavy and greasy at first when you apply it to wet hair however if you allow your hair to fully dry it is not crunchy at all and gives good body to the hair. The one downside I noticed is that if you have very frizzy hair, it might not control all of it but overall it worked well for me. One word of advice though: use a small amount to start. It may not ...read moreseem like a lot, especially if you are used to using other brands of mousse, but it can quickly become too much. Also the smell is somewhat chemical but once it dries there is very little smell, if any.

    Back to the drawing board

It has great intentions, however, it is wayyyy to heavy. Love the concept. Hate the fact that it made my hair feel "crunchy"....not what I was expecting. It's back to the drawing board for Dove. Only pro: it did eliminate frizz, however, it was still to heavy. And that's coming from someone who was long thick wavy hair. Oh well

    Disappointed and Greasy:(

I tried Dove Style + Care Nourishing Curls, Whipped Cream Mousse since I can NOT find, my staple hair product, Dove Damage Therapy Curl & Sculpt Defining Mousse anywhere, and was really disappointed! I've been a Dove brand loyalist for YEARS and this NEW Whipped Cream mousse doesn't feel or smell like the Dove brand. The mousse feels chemical-ly unnatural, really heavy and greasy on my hair. If you are looking for a great mousse, I highly recommend Dove Curl & Sculpt Defining Mousse but good luck finding it. Dove discontinued it and replaced it with this can of whipping goop!
