I actually quite like this......

This product does really absorb the excess oil when I don't feel like I want to wash my hair on day two. I like that it goes on clear so you don't get that white dandruff-looking things in your hair. It also gives me great volume. The only thing I don't like is that it does tend to feel heavy and I have to use a lot to absorb the oil so the container doesn't last that long for me. But this product is great for the price.

Great drugstore dry shampoo

Mmmm... the smell is heavenly! And this works like a charm to soak up grease. The affordable price is just the icing on the cake. Probably my favorite drugstore dry shampoo.

Nice, But Has Strong Smell

I've gotten compliments on how nice my hair smells even 8 hours after I've used this, but after a while it's a bit overwhelming. Other than that, I love this. It's nice and cool when I spray it on, so it's a nice refresher on a summer day. It doesn't leave white powder behind, is light, undetectable, and doesn't build up, and you really can't beat it for the price (I got mine for about $3).

Limited use product

This dry shampoo does have some merit. It's inexpensive, easy to find, and absorbs oil well. That's not enough to save this product for me. The smell, at first, is pleasant and clean. But it lingers for hours and becomes overwhelming. It doesn't stop me from finishing the bottle, but I don't enjoy it. This is acceptable for really gross hair (like several days from last shampoo). Spray it all over...read more and it will absorb the oil. It's too heavy for other uses. You can't put it on clean hair just to get volume. Even with super oily hair, It builds up and ends up making your hair gunky. I recommend Batiste instead.

The best dry shampoo for me

I tried the Dove dry shampoo first after reading this article. It was day two & I couldn't make it out to a specialty store to try any others on the list. The fact that I could run into CVS & pick up a bottle was great. Personally, I enjoy the smell. It leaves no white residue & I only had to spray 5 shots into my hair to absorb the oil. The best part was the added volume! To top it off, I ha...read mored no excess oil when I woke up the next day. I also tried "not your Mother's" and "Batiste"; neither of which I liked better. "Not your Mother's" was available in a travel size & I had to use the whole bottle & still had left over oil. "Batiste" had a nice coconut smell but it leaves a thicker feeling to your hair similar to using hair spray.

don't buy this

this made my hair flat and compared to other dry shampoos, my hair didn't really look that clean after... the residue also stays no matter how much i brushed! will not buy again.

Ok but hate the smell

It works as well as other dry shampoos as far as making your shampoo last another day, but the smell is really off putting.

Smell is too strong

I don't use dry shampoos often, but when I used this one, the smell was absolutely overpowering. And it stayed! It smells artificial and yes it absorbs oil, but not enough for a person to live through the smell

Worked but gave a massive breakout

Smell is nice but overpowering and I suspect all that perfume is what caused a major breakout of painful red bumps on my scalp and hairline. Ouch. Too bad cuz it actually did a good job.

Terrible! Leaves so much WHITE FILM.

This product while smelling great and yes hitting under the $10 dollar mark leaves the worst white film! I have to massage it in with a blow dryer for a few minutes to get it dissolve. It works great after that but the point of dry shampoo is to cut down my time on my hair in the morning. I will not be repurchasing :(
